This mural takes up just about the entire end wall of the building which is an old two story brick structure now used for strip stores that are empty. The Ligonier area looked much like this in 1835. Wooded hills with a river running through the valley. Miami and Potawatomi Indians liked along the river where strawberries grew wild in the valley. At one time it was called Strawberry Valley.

The city of Ligonier, Jennie Thompson Foundation, & Structural Composities of IN sponsored this mural.
