V 50. a 60. letech bydlel v domku c. 24, v bývalé kovárské dílne, Bohumil Hrabal se svojí ženou a slavným podnájemníkem, explosionalistickým výtvarníkem Vladimírem Boudníkem. Dum byl zboren v 70. letech pri stavbe metra, jeho existenci pripomíná výtvarne pojatá betonová operná zed. Ulice, dum i byt hrály podstatnou roli v mnoha hrabalových literárních dílech.

In the 50 and 60 years lived in the house No. 24, in the former blacksmith shop, Bohumil Hrabal and his wife, together with famous subtenant, explosionalistic artist Vladimir Boudník. The house was demolished in the 70th years in the construction of the metro, its existence reminds artistically conceived concrete retaining wall. Street, an apartment and the house played a substantial role in many literary works of Hrabal.
