Located in Jack Laughter Park, this single panel monument honors those who were killed in action, missing in action, or prisoners of war. The entire back side of the marker is composed of round rocks placed evenly in rows, and the sides of the marker consist of two vertical rows of these same rocks that also wrap around the top. The monument sits on a 2 ft. X 4 ft. concrete block.
Jack Laughter Park is a small park located on the north side of Highway 49, on the way to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. There are about half a dozen picnic tables in the area as well as a large grassy area. Handicap parking is available.
