The co-ordinates are given for a
position about 20m to the south of the bridge on a footpath (see
photo).
This bridge crosses Three Colt Street with a clearance of 15ft 06in
for vehicular traffic passing beneath the tracks. The street is one way only from north
to south and that is why a height is not shown on the
bridge at this side..
There is always the possibility of the
bridge taking a hit from a road vehicle so there are notices advising what to
do. The notice for the Gill Street bridge reads:
