Cattle crossing signs are not uncommon in the midwest, but what makes this particular sign unusual is that it crosses an urban bike/walking path. The Tallman Gulch trail is a popular trail connecting downtown Parker to the southeast subdivision of Idyllwilde.

Walking along the trail, you would suspect nothing unusual as it wanders along a small creek past parks, neighborhoods and trees... Until all at once your path is blocked by a pair of green metal gates. This portion of the trail passes through a privately owned ranch and two gates allow the owner to move livestock across the trail.
