The town of Walnut is known far and wide for its plethora of antique shops and malls. Murals grace the exteriors of two of the buildings; this one depicts the surrounding agricultural community. The painting shows a farmer plowing his field with the help of his work horse while the traditional red barn stands in the back. The mural is on the south side of the road on the front of the “Barn Antique Mall.”
