Currently this building houses the municipal offices and fire department of the town of Ellis, Kansas. It is interesting that the municipal offices were formerly in the 1926 Memorial City Hall building, meaning they were moved to an older, but better suited building. Only in flyover country would government make such good use of the taxpayers money.
