This painted barn quilt includes red, yellow, blue, and green pinwheel on a white background and a yellow border. It is located on Highway 61, on the east end of Fort Madison. The barn is situated on a private residence, just north of the State Penitentiary and just across from the Calvary Assembly of God.
Your Visit:
After spending the day in nearby Nauvoo, Illinois, we were headed to Burlington, Iowa. This is the first painted barn quilt that I've ever seen.
