The paintwork is dull and is flaking off in places. There is evidence that small posters have been pasted to the box and these have been removed leaving some of the paper stuck there. The black base is dirty and there is red paint showing through the black. Where the base meets the pavement there is a circle of corrosion around the box.

This post box is on the corner of two quiet residential streets in west London.
