The mark is cut into a well established brick
wall that has had considerable re-pointing done to it. The datum line is in fair
condition but the arrow is showing signs of damage. The mark can be easily found
by lining up the lines in the centre of Malbury Road, turning to face the wall
and then taking a step to the west!
