This large outdoor labyrinth on the UCSB Campus is located on Lagoon Island, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. According to a UCSB Press Release, the path is 6/10 mile long and it took two months to construct. It is composed of decomposed granite and river rocks. It is built to ADA standards, with the path wider than most labyrinths to accomodate wheelchairs.
The peaceful walk of the labyrinth combined with the outstanding view of the ocean make this an ideal place for the UCSB community and the public to come and de-stress.
