Access to this Hut is by boat. Distance to walk is to far, rugged and untracked. The Hut is used by Hunting Parties down this way for the purpose of hunting Stewart Island Whitetail Deer. The Hut sleeps 6. Has Pot belly fire. Its a well maintained hut with alloy windows, fly screens etc. Approx 1000lt fresh water tank, sinks, meat safe, long drop. It is one of the Hunter trust huts, cost $10 per person per trip. Bookings made with DOC up to 10 days permit length.
