The Belfry Shopping Centre first opened on 15 October 1991, in the centre of Redhill, having been constructed on the site of an old car park.
The centre was refurbished in 2007.
On to the clock description<
The clock actually has three faces, my pic only shows one unfortunately. It is circular analogue type with a rather nice geometric pattern in the centre of the white face.
The numbers are shown as Roman numerals and surrounded by gold leaf style edging.
The minute markers also have a gold trim on either side of them.
Three bells are also seen under the clock itself, they are not for show, they actually work every 15 mins.
There is another clock on the Warwick Quadrant (Harlequin Centre) but I felt two waymarks of the same type with the same “owner” was just being greedy. I’ll leave that one for someone else to publish.
