The Prague City Hall and Jail building is a one-story brick building in the Mission Spanish Colonial Revival style of architecture. It was designed by Leonard Bailey, an Oklahoma City architect and was constructed in 1936, with the assistance of the Public Works Administration, who provided 45% of the construction costs for the building.
The building faces west and has a symmetrical Mission style, with a curved and stepped parapet with stone coping. A 6 ft x 20 ft. covered vestibule projects from the front of the building. The front entrance has been altered and now has aluminum and glass doors instead of the original French doors. Most windows are metal casement and original.
A stone name plate above the vestibule roof reads "CITY HALL". The original tile roof over the vestibule has been replaced with asphalt shingles. There is a flat roof before the raised parapet.
The building was constructed to house the Police Court, Jail, Fire Department Garage, City Clerk's office and a large Council Chamber. Today, it still houses the local police department, with the city offices moving to another location in town.
