Grey Tower, Womens Tower, Winter Tower and Pulpit are creating the picturesque Fritzlar cityscape called "4-towers-view". City of many towers (urbs turriticia) was the nickname of Fritzlar towards the end of the middle ages. 19 Towers in the old town, four towers in the modern town as well as seven look-out towers formed the shilouette of the biggest Mayence fortress in Hesse. The city wall has been 2.5 kilometers overall. It has been three meters thick and 11 meters high in average. Go to the given grids and enjoy the view! Parking place nearby.

Grauer Turm, Frauenturm, Winterturm und Kanzel bilden den malerischen Fritzlarer "Vier-Türme-Blick". Die turmreiche Stadt (urbs turritica, so lautete der Beiname Fritzlars im ausgehenden Mittelalter. 19 Türme der Altstadt, vier Türme der Neustadt sowie sieben Warttürme prägten die Shilouette der größten mainzischen Festung in Hessen. Insgesamt war die Fritzlarer Stadtmauer etwa 2,5 km lang. Im Durchschnitt drei Meter stark und bis zu 11 m hoch. Gehe zu den Koordinaten und genieße den Blick. Parkplatz vor Ort.
