The Old Post Office building was constructed in 1916. The two-story blond brick building was constructed by a real estate firm to serve as a post office. The building was constructed by J.N. Parham. The post office moved into the building in October 1916. The building housed both the post office and drug store in 1918. The post office continued to occupy the building until its new building completed in 1931. After the post office moved out the building was remodeled into a modern business building for the W.W. Virtue Dry Goods Company which opened in 1932.

The building is in good condition and now is occupied by a clothing store and a hair salon.
