This station, a U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey standard bench mark disk, is located in Wentworth, NH. It is set in the southeast wingwall of a green iron bridge over the Baker River.

THE STATION IS LOCATED IN WENTWORTH.TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF STATE ROUTES 25 AND 25-A IN WENTWORTH, GO SOUTHEAST FOR 0.35 MI (0.56 KM) ON ROUTE 25 TO A BRIDGE OVER THE BAKER RIVER AND THE STATION ON THE LEFT. ALSO, FROM THE CEMETERY IN WENTWORTH, GO SOUTHEAST FOR 0.2 MI (0.3 KM) ON ROUTE 25 TO THE STATION ON THE LEFT.THE STATION IS A STANDARD USCGS DISK STAMPED--W 34 1955--, SET INTO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE STEEL BRIDGE OVER THE BAKER RIVER, 1.0 FT (0.3 M) BELOW THE ROAD. 21.0 FT (6.4 M) EAST FROM THE CENTER OF THE ROAD.

Accordiing to the NH report, their last recovery called the disk in poor condition due to illegibility. As found, the disk was readable and firmly in place, except that it appears to have some kind of coating such as spar or epoxy.
