This station, a U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey standard bench mark disk, is located in Rumney, NH. It is set in top of the south side of the west abutment of a railroad bridge spanning the Baker River. The railroad bed in this area is now a snowmobile trail, and this section of the trail is an all season recreational trail directly behind a RV trailer resort park (Riverbrook).

THE STATION IS LOCATED IN RUMNEY, TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF STATE ROUTE 25 AND STATE ROUTE 3A IN WEST PLYMOUTH, GO NORTHWEST FOR 0.25 MI ON ROUTE 25 TO THE PLYMOUTH/RUMNEY TOWN LINE. CONTINUE NORTHWEST FOR 2.0 MI ON ROUTE 25 TO THE JUNCTION OF SCHOOL STREET. TURN RIGHT AND GO NORTH FOR 0.2 MI ON SCHOOL STREET TO THE ABANDONED RAILROAD CROSSING. PROCEED EAST ON FOOT FOR 0.4 MI ON THE RAILROAD BED TO THE SNOWMOBILE SUSPENSION BRIDGE OVER THE BAKER RIVER, AND THE STATION ON THE RIGHT.THE STATION IS A STANDARD USCGS DISK STAMPED---M 35 1955---, SET INTO THE TOP OF THE SOUTHWEST END OF THE BRIDGE SEAT OF THE WEST STONE ABUTMENT, 3.5 FT BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE OLD RAILROAD BED.LOCATED 9.0 FT SOUTH FROM THE CENTER OF THE ABANDONED RAILROAD GRADE, 63.0 FT EAST FROM POWER POLE PSCO/119, 4.5 FT NORTHEAST FROM THE SOUTHWEST END OF BRIDGE SEAT..

While the go-to description above is adequate, it may be possible to reach the mark by gaining access through the RV park, provided that you get permission from the owners first (The owners are actually aware of it as I showed it to them during my stay there).
