Located in Newark's Gateway Center on Raymond Avenue, the Hilton Newark Penn Station is just a 20 minute train ride to Manhattan.
Perhaps not as fancy and chock full of the usual Hilton amenities... this Hotel still offers fine rooms, friendly staff and it's convenience to Manahattan and the Prudential Center is a big plus.
It's pet-friendly too!

Justification for Recommendation:
Convenient, friendly staff, although rooms don't have a great view and smaller bathrooms than usual..everything is adequate and clean...and I got a good rate at $99. They also provided a shuttle for the wedding we were attending nearby.
