- Quelle: Wikipedia

"Maximilian I had attached to the sill and then build from just outside the city, the arsenal from 1500 to 1505. It consists of two 80 x 10 m wide, two-story wings and two narrow gate and connecting wings that surround a large courtyard. here the war material was stored, and around the armory were associated plants. In addition, many guns were handguns stored.
1503 Mühlau a brass hut was built. The main reason for choosing this location was the location of the city as a transportation hub and thriving copper mining in Tyrol, which had given rise to a thriving arms industry Innsbruck.
1503 housed the armory about 150 guns.
. By the end of the monarchy in 1918, nor as "armory barracks" in use, the building was restored in 1964/1969 and in 1973 opened as a Tyrolean history museum "- Source: Wikipedia
