A well maintained box at the junction of Chequers Lane and The Green. It has been renovated and is now an information point on the 36 mile Boudicca Way. This path goes from Norwich to Diss and runs almost parallel to the main A140 Norwich to Ipswich road. This in turn follows the route of the old Roman Road,The path takes it's name from the legendary Queen of the Iceni who led a revolt against the Roman occupation. One of Norfolk's favorite daughters!
Saxlingham Green is one of several Saxlinghams in the area and is a pretty hamlet in a conservation area.
Colour: It's red!
Is it in its original position?: Yes
Is there a working telephone in it?: No
