A colourful mural painted by art students of Bomaderry High School in 2006.
The mural depicts rail transport & the people, places, flora & fauna of the City of Shoalhaven. The rail motor is crewed by the students & as appropriate for their age, a "P" for provisional licence appears above the windscreen.
There is a Koori influence with aboriginal art on the wings of a butterfly & on the kangaroos. The mural includes well known scenes such as Jervis Bay, its aquatic life, snorkling & surfing. Point Perpendicular Lighthouse is in the back ground. There are fresian cows, possums & black & white cockatoos. Historical scenes include the truss bridge over the Shoalhaven River & Hampden Bridge in Kangaroo Valley.
The murals on the walls are all joined together with piano keys which are representative of the rail line, the rhythm of life & the Shoalhaven River.
