The town of Luang Prabang is a tourist town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Part of the attraction of the town is the plenitude of restored older buildings. One of these, clearly constructed in the days of the French administration, is found on the main street, near the city centre. Somewhat surprisingly, the year inscription does not face onto the main street, but onto a side street, however, it is readily visible. The year 1933. Most likely at that time the residence of a well to do French person, now, selling tourist tours to tourists.
Year of construction: 1933
