This sculpture is near the entrance to the Sam Viersen Gymnastics Center at the University of Oklahoma at Norman.

A Sooner Magazine article about the improvements to this gymnastics center (visit link) contains this one sentence about the artwork:

"Standing near the front entrance is a new sculpture by artist Jack Nortz, titled “Equilibrium.” Unveiled in April, the bronze piece depicts the ultimate combination of grace, balance and athleticism that are essential to gymnastics."

The sculpture is admittedly a combination of figurative and abstract elements. The work uses ribbons of bronze to depicts a young female gymnast in mid jump...and less clearly...a male gymnast on the rings doing a handstand.
