The house at 512 Columbia was built circa 1882. The house is described as a Picturesque Cottage style. The house is an L-shaped one story structure with clapboard siding. The house previously had a wood shingle roof which has been replaced with metal. The house has a bay window with wood brackets and a porch with column supports and lathe-turned spindles.

The house is in good condition and is a private residence.
