Located in the centre of Hollingbourne in kent is this fine memorial to those 37 local people who lost their lives in the first war. The names of those who paid the ultimate price are engraved on the memorial along with the 12 people from the second war.
The memorial is a tall oblisk, with a cross on the top surounded by a circle.

The words on the memorial read:
