A Cook County Highway Department Bench Mark disk embedded in the bridge over the Edens Expressway (I-94) in Wilmette, IL. To reach the station, go west from the intersection of Skokie Blvd and Lake Ave to the mark on the left. The mark is on the south side of the street, embedded in a circular concrete pillar half-underneath the bridge.

The mark is on the southeast corner of the bridge, so to speak, and can either be seen from the southern sidewalk leading over the bridge (lean over the railing and look down near the place where the bridge span meets the ground) or by going through the tall grass to the mark itself. Watch out for bugs. Lots of them.
