"Im Jahre 1892 pflanzte ein Missionar einen ganz besonderen Baum, der "Schneeglöckchenbaum" (Schneeglöckchen-Baum) im Ortsgebiet von Hof, eine Pflanze, die aus China stammt.
Der Baum wurde für seine merkwürdige Färbung bekannt: Im Mai werden die Spitzen immer weiß, dann die Blätter rot und grün und im Juli umgekehrt.

The tree is 120 years old and unique in Austria!

Turned up in the middle of the tree is a simple wooden cross of Jesus.
