Pier 39 is an amalgamation of restaurants, specialty shops, amusements, and the place to be to see the sea lions that have overtaken the docks as their home.
The Pier flies many of it's flags at the entrance to the site. They can be seen on the Pier's webpage at (visit link) and at this website (visit link) which sells images of the flags.
The flag has two blue stripes at the top and bottom with a white strip in the middle. "PIER 39" is written in blue along the white stripe.
