This visitor center is the smallest one I have seen. This building is located at the south end of a parking lot at the intersection of Golden Lantern and Dana Point Harbor Dr. It is only 5 minute walk from here to the harbor and is right off one of only two roads that go in and out of the harbor. Parking can be found just north. The visitor center is made of wood which seems to be part of the culture of Dana Point as some of the buildings here are made of wood and can date back to the 1800's. This octagon building is about 15 feet tall and only about 10 wide at most.
