A plaque mounted on a polished granite block is located at the intersection of Main St. and Royal Ave. in front of the Warren County Courthouse in Front Royal, Virginia. The inscription reads:
IN MEMORY
SOLDIERS AND PATRIOTS
OF THE
REVOLUTIONARY WAR
1775 - 1783
GIFT FROM FRONT ROYAL CHAPTER DAUGHTERS
OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION - 1989

The memorial is framed by a hedge near the edge of the brick walkway with a small light for illumination.
