This trailhead is the lower terminus of the Rock Canyon Trail. The trail follows a stream and aqueduct up the canyon to a campground on Squaw Peak Road. It connects to the trail to Big Springs on the other side of Cascade Mountain. It is a pretty ride, especially in the fall. The cliffs are fantastic. The trailhead also serves the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
