Joseph Geraci owned a gift shop called Rebel Korn'r on US 522/340 in White Post, Virginia back in the 1960s. He added a few dinosaurs and some totem poles on the outside. More dinosaurs and other gigantic fiberglass statues eventually turned Rebel Korn'r into
Dinosaur Land. Today, three of the prehistoric behemoths still stand at the intersection and a wooden totem is still outside the
gift shop advertising souvenirs, novelties, fireworks and Minnetonka moccasins.
The colorful pole is topped by a bird head with a long-beaked nose and spread wings. The totem stands in the parking lot next to the curb and is anchored to the building with straps to the roof.
