This mural explores several different figures from fairy tales - both old and new. There are cats and apes and giraffes in royal regalia, monkeys in space, robots, elephant on the ductwork, and silhouette apes, eagles all in a haunted-looking forest. It is worth the time to really 'look' at each character.

This piece was designed by Alison Peck in September 2012. It is on the Carioca Cafe (or Bar Bar Coffeehouse) in lower downtown Denver. Additional artists include Kery Allen, Jeff Bartholomew, Ashley Frazier, Kyle Goldberg, Peter Johnson, Lauren Katz, Bobby MaGee Lopez, Lauren Peck, TJ Raygun, David Reed, Laura Schmidt and Charles Soule.
