The bridge is over 70 years old. There is a benchmark on the bridge that is also on geocaching.com. This bridge spans over the Oso Creek which starts at the Oso Reservoir in Rancho Santa Margarita and ends at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. The 1938 dedication is on the north west side of the bridge. There is a benchmark right under it so it is hard to miss.
