This compass rose caught my eye because it was made freehand with rocks and driftwood scavenged from the area. It is located at the site of the New Dungeness Light Station at the end of Dungeness Spit near the town of Sequim. Access to the location will require an 11-mile roundtrip hike at low tide, or paddling there in a kayak.
