The overlook at this location is the highest point in eastern South Dakota. From the height of 1309 feet ASL, one can see an unbelievable view of the intire park an d well beyond its boundaries.
The beautfy of a hawk soaring across a blue sky, stars glistening on a clear night and the sight of the tremendous growth of trees down the slopes of the park are just a few luxuries a visitor will receive from this high elevation.
