This is a typical four up and four down town house built on a corner plot and with its garden running along Price's Lane to the west and the front faceing the field. The plot was part of the field which became the school playing field when it was relocated during the period of expansion of Upton.

There are four tall brick-built stacks with two flues each arising from the slope of the roof, each serving one quarter of the house.
