Alice Graham has a chance encounter with mountaineer Adam. Alice pursues Adam and leaves her boyfriend for Adam. As the relationship develops Alice starts getting phone calls and letters warning her off Adam. Nevertheless Alice marries Adam.
After they are married Alice finds old letters from Adam’s former lovers. She eventually realises that one of Adam’s girlfriends disappeared and suspects that he might have had something to do with it. She runs from him and meets up with Adam’s sister Deborah.
In the climax to the film Alice and Deborah go to the church where Alice and Adam started their honeymoon on the pretext of looking for the disappeared girlfriend, who had also been taken to the same church. Whilst digging at the church Alice realizes that Adam didn’t murder his ex girlfriend, but that Deborah did out of jealously. Ominously the hole that Deborah is digging is not to find the ex girlfriend, but to bury Alice in. Fortunately Adam arrives in time to rescue Alice.
The clips show Adam and Alice at the church gate on their honeymoon.
