This piece was designed by Canadian Kosso Eloul in 1977. The sculpture, made from fabricated wrought Stelcoloy was made for the "A Sculpture for Hamilton Competition".
Kosso Eloul is well known for his use of cubism in his sculptures and has many in Toronto and throughout Ontario and Quebec. Eloul passed away in 1995.
The Canadac is located in Commonwealth Square outside the Hamilton Art Museum.
