This is the house in Fredericksburg, VA that George Washington purchased for his mother, Mary, back in the late 1772. The guided tours give some information on the original parts of the house as well as the parts the George renovated before leaving for the Capitol.
After the guided part of the tour, visitors are allowed to view a couple of more rooms upstairs. Unfortunately, no indoor photos are allowed.
