The memorial is a section of a tree trunk nicely finished, mounted on it are two plaques with the following inscription:

Korea
June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953
"The Forgotten War "that" Springer Will Never Forget"
- List of Veterans -
For Lover of God and Country
"A Nation Who Forgets It's Past Has No Future"
