This homemade tombstone is located in Cimetière Saint-Frédéric in Drummondville.
There are really few details given by the stone. I presume that it is a stillborn child because there is only one date : 1929 M 26. This could be May or March 26th.
The initials JB probably take place for Jean-Baptiste which was a well known first name among French Canadians at that time.
Another detail that suggests to me that this is a child is the plate added to the stone: it is written "Repose avec les anges" (Rest with the angels).
Je suppose que cette pierre tombale a été installée pour un enfant mort-né. Il n'y a qu'une seule date, 1929 M 26 (26 mars ou 26 mai). De plus les initiales JB me font penser au prénom Jean-Baptiste qui était souvent utilisé à l'époque.
La plaque indiquant "Repose avec les anges" me fait aussi croire qu'il s'agit d'un enfant.
