The railroad on Vancouver Island, BC was originally called the E and N (Esquimalt and Nanaimo). Although it was taken over several years ago by ViaRail, it is still often called the E&N by islanders.
The pysical address is 899 Cumberland Road, Courtenay.

 Is the station/depot open to the public?: Yes
 If the station/depot is not being used for railroad purposes, what is it currently used for?: The railroad is in financial difficulties, and has stopped running for the time being. I have left the current use as railroad, as there are talks underway to re-organize and re-start the daily train. The Canadian government has committed 7.5 million dollars (as of April 2012) to repair the lines.
