The planet walk of Laufen is a hiking path from Laufen to Liesberg that features a solar system model in the scale 1:1,000,000,000. Both the size and the distances are to-scale. This means Pluto is almost 6km from the sun. But beware, the distances are always linear or as the crow flies. The real walking distance is over 13.7km. If you make this in 4 to 5 hours you still traveled faster than light (in scale). It is a hiking path, most planets are not accessible by vehicles.
The Jupiter model has a diameter of 5cm. The distance from the sun model is about 4.5 kilometers as the crow flies. The walking distance is much more. Meanwhile the walk has left Laufen. The Neptune model is located in the a forest west of Bärschwil.
