Patsy Hillman park was first established in the 1950s as Brownsville-Luzerne Joint Park, which a managerial board still manages the park to this day comprised of residents of both Brownsville Borough and Luzerne Township.
The park had limited facilities at first and items came to the park as funding permitted, some of those facilities do not exist as of now and newer facilities, such as ball diamonds and soccer field is here.
Pavilions, such as the Hillman Pavilion, dedicated to Brownsville's Pioneer Conservationist, Patsy Hillman Miller, is available for rent through the Brownsville Borough Office.
There is a lake at the park (that used to be leased), that is available for fishing.
