Boatyard Cottage, no.15, on the north side of Dunns Lane had it's frontage renewed in 1784. It's painted brick - but when I took the photos the ground floor had had its paint removed. It's of two storeys and an attic, which has four gabled dormers, two to the front and two to the rear, and a plain tiled roof. There is a large brick west-end wall stack shared with the cottage next door.
The cottage is two bays wide and has C19th casements and sashes in segmental headed openings. The central door is plain with a later, tiled 'porch' roof. The datestone is above and between the upper floor windows and is marked 'WWC 1784'.
It is grade II listed.
