Bama Lanes has 30 lanes, a proshop, snack bar, and lounge with Karaoke and pocket billards. Bama Lanes is host to many leagues for all ages and tournament play. (I once got a turkey here when I was in a league.)
A bit of rock and roll history related to this bowling alley: In the mid 70’s, a band by the name of Harvest played in the Kegler's Kove lounge here. Band members consisted of childhood friends Jimbo Jones, Tommy Beavers, Eddie Wohlford and Tommy Shaw. When the guitarist for the band Styx suddenly quit, the band's manager, who remembered Tommy Shaw from a performance he saw in Chicago, tracked him down here. And the rest is history.
