Looking at the series of steps from the Rim Trail, on the other side of the gorge, the view rivals the Great Wall of China. Check out the closeup of the structure of the steps nearest the falls!

This stairway is made up of multiple segments with hairpin turns totaling over 10 stone steps. There is at least one built-in bench where one can sit and rest. There is also a hidden nook containing a plaque dedicated to the private owners who donated this land to the state, which in turn allowed it tob be developed during the Great Depression by the CCC workers.

Between the stone bridge upstream of the top of Lucifer Falls and the wooden bridge at the base of the falls, there are 30 stone stairs, in a series of sets, followed by 90 stone steps in another series of sets, ending with 40 railroad ties steps. Posted coordinates are at the top of the Lucifer Falls and the top of the 90 steps section of stairs
number of stairs (minimum 60): 120.00

stair landing (check if yes): yes
