An early schoolhouse, built in 1845, was been completely restored in 1967 by the Blandford Historical Society. The old schoolhouse bell has been placed on display on a slope between the building and the highway. It is protected by a small cedar shingled roof which is supported by two wood beams. The bell was cast by the Meneely Company of West Troy, NY.
